Overview:
Jimmy The Plank is a third person 3d platformer made in 12 weeks as final college project. I did all programming and animation on the project.
I found out that a third person controller is really difficult to make, especially when the player can roll on walls. I figured out how to do it and it works really well now.
Jimmy The Plank is a third person 3d platformer made in 12 weeks as final college project. I did all programming and animation on the project.
I found out that a third person controller is really difficult to make, especially when the player can roll on walls. I figured out how to do it and it works really well now.
In Jimmy The Plank you play as Jimmy, a red panda who has a ball shield he can roll up in. You have to find your ship to get off the planet full of enemies.
You have a magnet ball you can shoot. With it you can hit switches, pull objects towards you and pull yourself towards certain objects. You also have multiple weapons to defeat the enemies. The ball shield is magnetic and with it you can roll on walls made of iron.
